Leadership San Antonio Kicks Off the Year with a Hill Country Retreat

The 37th class of Leadership San Antonio (LSA) assembled last weekend at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa to prepare for the exciting opportunities and challenges they will face over the next year.  Co-Chairs Anamaria Suescun-Fast, Director of Public Relations for Guerra DeBerry Coody, and Joel Perez, Jr., Partner at Padgett Stratemann & Co., LLP, welcomed the new class and, along with the Steering Committee, tasked them with the arduous mission of examining their own leadership styles and applying their strengths to areas of significant need in our community.

The 54 members of LSA Class 37 are grouped into committees that will develop the agendas for seven class days throughout the year. Each class day explores a vital piece of San Antonio‘s economic, social and political structure and provides class members with a unique understanding of the inner workings of our community.

San Antonio’s continuous growth challenges each new class of LSA to produce thoughtful, responsible and committed leaders. We look forward to the many accomplishments the dedicated members of Class 37 are sure to contribute to our area and wish them the best of luck in the coming year.

LSA is a joint partnership of The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. For more information on LSA, email Michelle Whitlow, Director of Leadership San Antonio, at LSA@sachamber.org.
