Chambers Welcome New Members of Leadership San Antonio Class 38

The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held a reception last week to welcome the 56 individuals who will make up the 38th class of Leadership San Antonio (LSA). The AT&T Center hosted the group for their first meeting, where the new class met Chamber leadership and LSA Alumni.

Since 1975, the jointly-sponsored program has provided a unique learning experience for leaders in the San Antonio metropolitan area. Members meet monthly to hear from industry experts and elected officials about the many aspects of what makes the business community, the city, and the county function.

“The application and interview process provided us with a very talented pool of current and up-and-coming leaders, and while the selection of LSA 38 was painstaking and complex, we are humbled by the high caliber of individuals who now compose LSA Class 38,” said LSA 38 Co-Chair Murray H. Van Eman, Attorney at Law with King & Sommer, LLP.

LSA is an educational experience that provides a forum for leaders to examine the nature and inner workings of San Antonio, and discuss the issues, challenges, and problems facing our community.  Participants gain in-depth knowledge of the San Antonio community, awareness of its institutions, and familiarity with its leadership and structure.

The members of the LSA Class 38 Steering Committee are:
