Event Description: Dead Texans return to life once again at the Institute of Texan Cultures for the annual Dance with the Dead. The museum’s Halloween dance and masquerade features a live band, historical costume contest featuring famous (and infamous) dead Texans, ghost tours, art slam, a Dia de los Muertos exhibit, silent auction and cash bar.

Music legends Janis Joplin and Buddy Holly, the Barrow gang, medical quack John R. Brinkley, pilot Bessie Coleman, Navy Cross recipient Doris Miller and a gallery of Texas heroes, villains, celebrities and eccentrics have all been portrayed by Texans bringing the past to life.

ADMISSION:
21+ event.
individual ticket $25 ($20 ITC members)
Add a ghost tour $10 ($5 ITC members)

Table of 8: $500 (includes wine, food served at your table, event souvenir, 6-month family pass to ITC museum and events; plus a private ghost tour for your table)
