Event Description:
Special Olympics Texas wants to hoop up your summer by hosting the inaugural Flame of Hope Basketball Tournament in San Antonio on August 8 – August 9 at Fox Tech Health and Law Professions Campus(637 N. Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205).

Teams will be placed in age division according to the oldest player on the team. There are 10 divisions:

• Men’s Open & Women’s Open
• Men’s Youth (15-17) & Women’s Youth (15-17)
• Men’s Youth (12-14) & Women’s Youth (12-14)
• Men’s Over 40 (ALL players must be over 40)
• Special Olympics Athlete Team (Special Olympics athletes ONLY)
• Unified Team (includes two Special Olympics athletes)
• Corporate (ALL players from same business).

Register at http://www.sotx.org/flamebball. Be sure to follow and complete ALL 3 STEPS. See below for a list of fees. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support more than 9,300 athletes with intellectual disabilities in the San Antonio area.

• Adult Team (4 players) - $160
• Unified Team (4 players, including 2 Special Olympics athletes) - $130
• Special Olympics Athlete Team (4 Special Olympics athletes) - $100
• Youth Team (4 players) - $100
