Steven Bankler CPA Expands Team With Staff Accountant Jody Magaña

Steven Bankler CPA has hired Jody Magaña as a full-time staff accountant. Magaña’s main focus for the firm will be on assisting business clients by reviewing books and records and providing comparable operating information with similar-sized companies within each client’s respective industry.

“We’re excited to have Jody on board. Not only does she have experience with a Big 4 CPA firm but also with the Texas Comptroller’s office,” says Steven Bankler. “She also brings a new perspective to our firm, which will benefit our clients in many ways.”

Magaña earned her Bachelor of Business Administration as an accounting major from University of Texas at San Antonio in 2009 and obtained her CPA license in 2014. Her CPA experience includes two years with the State of Texas Comptroller and two years as a staff accountant with Ernst & Young. In addition to being a licensed CPA, Magaña is a member of the Texas
Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
