City of San Antonio to Sponsor MBE/WBE Disparity Study Focus Groups

The local San Antonio business community is invited to attend a series of business owner interviews from May 5 - 7 as part of the Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) Disparity Causation Analysis Study currently being conducted by the City of San Antonio.

These focus group sessions will provide an opportunity for local MBE, WBE and Non-MBE/WBE business owners to share their experiences and insights on the opportunities and the challenges involved in doing business or attempting to do business with the City of San Antonio and in the San Antonio region generally. These sessions are a critical part of the Disparity Study.

Feedback from local business owners will help to identify potential revisions to the City’s Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program and support the strategic objectives of open access to contracting and purchasing opportunities in the City of San Antonio. Comments will be kept strictly confidential according to established legal and policy standards. No information attributable to individual businesses or business owners will be included in the final report for the Study.
