SAAHJ presents the 18th Annual Scholarship & Awards Gala

Dear SAAHJ Friend and Supporter:

Each year, the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving local students pursuing careers in journalism and communications. This year, SAAHJ is excited to announce that it will award $40,000 in scholarships for the second consecutive year!
But…we cannot do it without your support!

SAAHJ will present scholarship awards at its 18th Annual Scholarship & Awards Gala on Friday, August 19, 2016.That evening SAAHJ will also honor three outstanding members of our community:

• Little Joe Hernandez, 2016 Recipient of the Corazón de Oro Award

• Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, 2016 Recipient of the Henry Guerra Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Journalism

• María Antonietta Berriozabàl, 2016 Recipient of the Community Service Award
