You are Cordially Invited to Nominate your Small, Minority, Woman, Veteran-owned and/or Emerging Small Business for the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA) Awards!
The SCTRCA is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit Corporation that represents several public entities in the South Texas area committed to enhancing participation for disadvantaged, small, minority, woman and veteran owned businesses in public/government contracting and purchasing activities.
The SCTRCA is committed to recognizing outstanding achievements and exemplary leadership in the local business communi- ty. We invite you to nominate one or more business enterprises for the 2016 SCTRCA Business Recognition Awards.
Nominations:
Any individual can submit a nomination for any for-profit business in any of the award categories,
however, winners will only be awarded in one category. Multiple nominations can be submitted.
Businesses may be nominated in one or more of the following categories:
- Small Business Enterprise
- Minority Business Enterprise
- Woman Business Enterprise
- Veteran Business Enterprise
- Emerging Small Business Enterprise
Eligibility:
All nominees must meet the following criteria to be eligible for nomination:
- One or more active business enterprise certifications from the South Central Texas Regional
Certification Agency.
- Nomination award categories must correspond with the business certification (s)
- You may verify active business enterprise certifications in the Vendor Search at www.sctrca.org.
- Outstanding business or community achievements
- Exhibit exemplary leadership
Judging:
Business Enterprises will be judged based on one or more of the following criteria:
- Commitment to customers, employees, and the local community
- Response to adversity
- Sustainability
- Commitment to diversity
Nominations will be reviewed and judged by a third party panel of small business advocates and
entrepreneurs.

Deadline—Nomination forms are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday September 26, 2016. After completing this form, please submit the nominee's high resolution company logo to section3@saha.org. All information will be kept confidential and the answers provided will be used solely for the purpose
of determining the awards.
Top nominees in each category will be notified no later than October 12, 2016. The awards will be presented at the Annual CA Business Recognitions Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Good Luck!
