Sign Up for The Chamber’s Lucky Duck Team

This year’s River Walk Lucky Duck Race, scheduled for October 8, supports Haven for Hope and the Paseo Del Rio Association. It is co-chaired by our Immediate Past Chairman of the Board Carri Baker Wells, COO of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, who has issued a challenge to Chamber members to purchase at least 500 ducks for these important causes. Besides supporting these organizations, your duck could win one of many great prizes including a new Nissan Versa.

Lucky Duck races are held all over the country, and last year’s inaugural race in San Antonio broke many records with 20,000 ducks floating down the River Walk. The cost for one duck is $5 donation, or you can get 6 ducks for $25.

Family-friendly events will be held at the Pearl Brewery Amphitheater on the River Walk starting at 1 p.m. The race begins at 5 p.m. and is followed by a free concert by Two Tons of Steel. Click here for details and more information.
