Chamber Welcomes New Board Members

A renewed sense of excitement and energy to serve the business community is always evident in The Chamber's January Board meeting, especially for new Board members. Chamber Chairman Jim Greenwood, Vice President for Governmental Affairs at Valero Energy Corporation, thanked the new executive committee and new board members for accepting this opportunity to serve.

The 2012 Executive Committee includes:

Immediate Past Chairman Sam Dawson | CEO, Pape-Dawson Engineers

Incoming Chairman Arthur Coulombe | General Manager, the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa

Vice Chair Doyle Beneby | President and CEO, CPS Energy

Vice Chair Trish DeBerry | President and Partner, Guerra DeBerry Coody

Vice Chair Luis Patino | General Manager, Univision

Greenwood stressed that during 2012, the Board will focus on strengthening membership through direct participation in recruiting new members and reaching companies who have not previously been very involved.

"As Board members, we realize that involvement is the only way to truly benefit from all the value that can be gained from Chamber membership," Greenwood said.
