You might want to include CallGrader on your list of up-and-coming companies to know. The San Antonio company is the winner of this year’s Beta Summit, co- sponsored by The Greater Chamber and the Innotech Conference. CallGrader is a telephone marketing coordination service that makes efficient use of online marketing and advertising.

The company assigns unique local phone numbers to various types of ads such as online or direct mail, so that companies can get real-time data about what's working and where.

“It's the report data people really want to see,” said Jon Dobbertin, CallGrader co-founder.

The company offices at Geekdom, a collaborative workspace for tech geeks at the Weston Centre downtown. Dobbertin said the company launched in January and has about 260 clients so far.

The annual InnoTech Conference showcases several different panel discussions on the latest technology and IT solutions. Part of this conference is the Beta Summit, where local entrepreneurs demo their product/service to a panel of angel investors for the chance to sell their product on the market. The other presenters were:

BudgetDoc, a medical insurance web portal;
CommonSense, a website landing site development firm;
SnappTours, a museum interactive application development firm;
Zippy Kid, a Word Press consulting and hosting service;
redu concepts, a Microsoft Kinect development firm.
