What is Celebrate America’s Military?

2010 marks The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce’s 40th Anniversary of Celebrating America’s Military, or CAM, the country’s longest & largest celebration of its kind.

CAM is an eleven-day series of events from November 1-11 designed to recognize and honor the men and women of our active duty military services, our guard and reserve, our wounded warriors and our veterans, for their service to our nation.

CAM 2010 features many great events, including a Veterans Day Parade through downtown San Antonio, a wreath laying at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Veterans Day, a two-day Air Fest at Lackland AFB, an Association of the U. S. Army luncheon, an Air Force Association Combat Breakfast, a Downtown Rotary Club Commanders Luncheon, a Veterans Day Concert performed by the San Antonio Symphony, a golf tournament, an Army Medical Command Band concert and other events, many of which are free and open to the public.
