With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Auburn University, 8 years of software engineering experience, and 9 years in learning and development, Susie brings a unique combination of technical expertise and passion for employee growth to her role. Her dedication to investing in our employee owners' business, technical, and career advancement is truly commendable. Susie's involvement in various initiatives, including the WE LEAD Advisory Board, the ABM Committee, and the Independence Bowl Committee, further showcases her leadership and commitment to our company's success. Meet Michael, one of our newest employee-owners! Michael joins us as a model-based systems engineer working in our Space Group. Prior to joining Radiance, Michael worked as a US Navy rescue swimmer and received an Armed Forces Service Medal. He was initially drawn to Radiance because of our ESOP model and so that he could be closer to his home in Ohio. He's looking forward to the type of work he'll be doing at Radiance, saying, “The space domain is wide open and new, which is exciting for a systems engineer.” In his spare time, Michael enjoys cooking, working out, working on his car, and going to local fairs and festivals. We are pleased to announce the promotion of Isaac J Cohen, PhD from Deputy Operation Manager to the Microwave Technologies and Systems Development Operation Manager within Radiance's Emerging and Disruptive Technologies Group. With an impressive educational background, including a BS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Cohen has consistently demonstrated his expertise and leadership skills in various roles at Radiance since 2019, including Senior Electrical Engineer, Division Manager, and Deputy Operation Manager. As a pulsed power electronics research engineer, Dr. Cohen has made significant contributions to numerous defense industry R&D projects, showcasing his deep understanding of the field and his ability to drive innovation. His expertise, leadership, and customer focus has been instrumental in the success of our company. We are confident that Dr. Cohen's promotion will further enhance Radiance's capabilities and strengthen our position as a leader in the industry. Dr. Cherry has been an integral part of Radiance, successfully leading the NOVASTAR program as PM over the last year. With his leadership and the hard work of the entire team, Radiance has experienced remarkable growth across multiple groups in our National Security Sector. Dr. Cherry's impressive educational background coupled with his extensive experience in senior civilian leadership positions with the Air Force Research Labs, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, make him an invaluable asset to our company. As a proven leader and an active Intelligence Wing Commander in the USAF Reserves, he brings current operational requirements back to the Radiance Team. Under his guidance, the NOVASTAR Team has achieved unparalleled success, winning an impressive 7 Task Orders valued over $55.3M and maintaining the status of winningest NOVASTAR Prime. We are confident that John's breadth and depth in several technical fields will be instrumental in ensuring a growing and sustainable company. Welcome one of our newest employee-owners, Elizabeth! Elizabeth joins us in Dayton, OH as a junior full stack software engineer. A recent graduate, Elizabeth got her degree in Computer Science from Wright State University and graduated summa cum laude. Initially, Elizabeth was drawn to Radiance because of the culture and to stay near her family. “During my interview, the people I had spoken with were kind, and the culture of the company seems to cultivate a balance of producing high-quality work while also respecting the work-life balance of the employees,” she says. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and drawing, baking keto desserts, doing yoga, playing card and board games with her family and friends, watching Netflix shows, and spending time with her cats. Our Huntsville Young Professionals group hosted a pickleball event for our employee-owners last week! The event provided the younger members of our workforce with an opportunity to bond and have fun together while enjoying an afternoon of sunshine and friendly competition.

Tom Anderson, lead instructor for the Radiance University Introduction to Radar Certificate Series, exemplifies this commitment to nurturing talent and sharing knowledge. The 10-month program is designed to instill radar expertise in our participants. Under Tom's guidance, our employee-owners have the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of radar technology, gaining valuable skills and knowledge that will propel their careers forward.
