This week our Domestic Violence & Training Coordinator, Judith Andrade, presented at ESC Region 20’s Homeless Education Advocacy Summit! This conference brought together various Alliance to House Everyone partners and provided the space for dynamic discussions, collaborative workshops, and networking opportunities to amplify the voices of our unhoused neighbors. May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth. Since its inception in 1949, this month has been dedicated to eradicating stigma, extending support, educating, and advocating for the millions of Americans who are faced with mental health conditions, including our unhoused neighbors. The Alliance to House Everyone and our community's Homeless Response System work to address these challenges through year long programming including strategic planning. This #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, check in on yourself, your unhoused neighbors, and the people you care about! #1in5 #shatterthestigma #breakthesilence #Together4MH #homelessresponsesystem #CloseToHomeSA #AllianceToHouseEveryone #community #endhomelessness #sanantonio #bexarcounty #homelessnessawareness #unhousedneighborsstillourneighbors #homelessresponsesa

Did you know, #EarthDay began in 1970, when a United States senator from Wisconsin organized a national demonstration to raise awareness about environmental issues? That’s why each year on April 22, over a billion people celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation. By participating in activities like picking up litter and planting trees, we’re making our world a happier, healthier place to live. 🌍 🌱 #HappyEarthDay #EarthDay2024 #EcoTips #GreenMatters
