Global cities have global economies built upon collaboration and alignment. One of the keys to making any city economically competitive and globally relevant is to have a robust and aligned workforce system. The San Antonio Chamber is proud to launch a new series of discussions focused on workforce development and alignment among large systems of players, including K-12, institutions of higher education, and employers.
Texas A&M University at San Antonio President Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson will launch this new and innovative series with her vision for the university and its impact on San Antonio’s economy. As one of the fastest growing universities in the state of Texas and with its downward expansion to include the freshmen and sophomore years of university, TAMUSA is poised to provide unique and innovative offerings for our community to be trained and ready for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
